I was surprised how easy it is to use Garage Band for podcasting. I am anxious to do podcasting with my students and share what we are doing with their parents.

I am excited about using the webpage with parents. I am planning on podcasting with my little ones on the life of a kindie. I would like to share this podcast with new parents at round up day.
Thanks for all your hard work. Love getting so many new ideas.

I thought garageband is such a great tool. I am excited to use it for my own use to see fluency progression throughout the year, student self-assessment, as well as sharing books that we are studying in guided reading groups with parents. So many options for this program! Loved it! Thanks for the easy directions and patience! :)
This is Leigh Houser by the way, not Robin.

I really enjoyed learning how to create a podcast and I am looking forward to watching my students create their own and share them with parents. I also want to challenge myself to create a website.

I enjoyed learning how to make a pod cast and setting up my own website. I will use the website to inform parents about upcoming events, homework and published writing.

In the future I will use garage band to set up a tour around Asia with photos, music and the student’s voices as the tour guides across the country. They will note important landmarks, food, and cultural aspects of Korea, China, Japan and India. Thanks for the great day!

I loved learning about creating podcasts on Garage band. You gave me so many ideas on different ways I can incorporate this into my teaching. I'm glad you talked about the Websites as I have already started creating mine but put it on the back burner. Being able to share podcasts with parents is a great motivator to get my website up and running. Thanks so much!

I loved doing the pumpkin patch lesson with my kids so much that we did it again with a winter theme. This fits in perfectly with the lesson we learned today about pod casting. I plan to use this lesson while being observed by my principal in the next few weeks! Thanks for the helpful lesson and experience!

I was overwhelmed but want to work on a web page for my class. The podcast might be tried at the end of the year after DRA testing in April.

I really enjoyed the class. This is the class. This is the second time I have taken this similar class and I am glad I did because now I feel confident enough to start a podcast project without someone holding my hand the whole way through. I can't wait to get started on podcasting. Great class.

I can't wait to try podcasting with my kids. I am going to use it as an aid in fluency awareness and also to help drive writing with details. I anticipate my students wanting to create detailed writing when they know it will be shared via this great technology. Thanks for the help and great ideas!
